It was only a matter of time before the popular "NBA 2K" series joins in on the virtual reality craze. And it looks like that time is earlier as expected as their newest game, "NBA 2KVR" is set to release on Nov. 22.

According to UploadVR, 'NBA 2KVR' will not be a full basketball game experience. Rather the player will be able to choose three basketball-related modes like Three-Point mini games, Party Events, Skills Challenges, and Time Attack Mode.

Going by the game trailer the gameplay mechanics of the game are pretty straightforward. The user aims the basketball using his face and shooting or passing the basketball with the controller. However, it is still unclear whether the motion controllers can be used for the shooting mechanics.

There are also some leaked Trophy lists floating on the internet for those who just love collecting those type of things. According to University Herald, the following are the trophies that can be collected in the game. This is not the first basketball-related game for the VR but it certainly is the biggest title up to date.
