"Limitless" Season 2 was thought to be junked by its network due to its performance during the first season. There are reports, however, that state a new character is coming to save the show.
The TV series inspired by the movie "Limitless" aired last April, and after seven months since the season 1 finale, there has been no talk about a renewal of the series. The NZT drama seems to be in hot water as numerous rumors about the show being canceled is floating around online.
According to Game N Guide, "Limitless" Season 2 may just make it through under the condition that the plot is revised. The requirement from CBS has triggered talks about the show transferring networks. There are rumors that suggest Netflix will continue the series instead of CBS.
Moreover, there are also talks about "Limitless 2" bringing in an all new character in the form of the "Paparazzi" singer, Lady Gaga. As reported by iTechPost, Bradley Cooper, and Lady Gaga are currently working together on a project and he might just be convincing her to join him on "Limitless" Season 2.
Having the pop star on board the NZT ship might just save the show enough for it to get a much-needed renewal. Lady Gaga being on "Limitless" Season 2 will definitely turn the show into a big hit especially since the show tells an interesting story already. The NZT drug unlocks a lot of possibilities for the user, and the same goes for the TV series.
If rumors stay true and Gaga will, in fact, join in on "Limitless" season 2, then she can definitely save the show. Considering the status of her current project "American Horror Story" Season 6, her fan base might just follow her to "Limitless" Season 2, if ever the singer-turned-actress takes the project.
