This period is what we call the dawn of virtual reality. Many of the classic games have reboots that are VR capable. With this age's technology, it lets us surpass the limitations of the previous consoles giving us a much better grasp of the alternate world given by the games of the past.

"Psychonauts" is one of the few fan-favorite games that will be having a reboot this year and the good thing about it is its VR compatible. But before "Psychonauts" will be given a sequel, Double Fine Productions revealed "Psychonauts: Rhombus of Ruin" at E3 2016.

"Rhombus of Ruin" is a VR compatible game that will link the events between the original and its sequel to fill the gap between them. At PlayStation Experience 2015, PSVR let the enthusiasts to have a taste of the much awaited comeback of the game that was released a decade ago.

Looking back, "Psychonauts" is a product of Tim Schafer and Double Fine Productions in 2005. It became a trendy classic and received much praise and positive reviews for its art. Unfortunately, the game failed to entice enough players to continue its franchise. We thought that it will be the last of it but hope is still there as we have now crowdfundings.

According to Polygon, "Rhombus of Ruin" you will see yourself aboard in the same familiar plane together with the same cast of characters who've eluded our sights since 2005. The game went on a different twist as the expected catch of the game will be coming from its iconic dialogue but we are shocked as it wowed us with an awesome gameplay.

The game will still tackle the story of Razputin "Raz" Aquato, a boy who eloped from the circus to later join the Psychonauts, a group of selected secret agents with psychic powers. As the story progresses, Raz will learn abilities like pyrokinesis and telekinesis. The sneak peak of the game in E3 2016 is just a small fraction of the overall game. Even though it is considered to be an underdog, it will fare good on its own as it sport a feature that set itself apart from other VR games.
