'Sailor Moon' Screening To Be Hosted by Viz Media in LA Soon!

"Sailor Moon" is an anime film which was first released in 1993 in Japan. Viz Media is currently working with Eleven Arts in screening the "Sailor Moon R: Promise of Rose" 13th of January 2017. The announcement about the screening was made by Viz media on December 7.

Anime news network reports that tickets are going to be sold beginning the morning of December 8. The screening of the film will be in LA at the Ace Hotel.  Anime short called "Make Up! Sailor Guardians" will be screened together with "Sailor Moon R: Promise of Rose". Both of the screenings will have dubbed and subtitled English versions.

According to Anime Herald, there will be a session of questions and answers which will be towards the team that was involved with English versions. In addition to all this, people who will attend the screening are going to receive gifts. There will also be a sale for anime stuffs by Viz and the cocktails at the hotel will be according to be film themed.

There is also a plan of screening this film in three Hundred theaters and more around United states of America towards the end of the first month on 2017. More information on the screening will be released when it gets closer to the screening dates.

The film description was given by Viz Media:

Mamoru gave a flower to lonely boy who had assisted him in his recovery from his parents' deaths out of gratefulness prior to the discovery of his purpose with Usagi. Fiore is a friend of the lonely boy who was forgotten from a long time ago and was looking for the signal of a rose around the galaxy. This rose looks nice but it is carrying an evil side power which is to conquer worlds. Mamoru's salvation comes from Sailor Guardian and Sailor Moon.
