Sony announced that "Spider-Man:  Homecoming" will have a sequel. The next "Spider-Man" movie will be released on July 5, 2019.

It can be remembered that Sony shared the rights of the film with Marvel Studios. By doing this, Spiderman became an official member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is solidified with the web-slingers' appearance in "Captain America: Civil War."

The Independent reported that "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is part of a six-picture deal Tom Holland, the new Spiderman, signed with Marvel Studios. Aside from three other films, Holland will also have other appearance on other Marvel Films probably including the "Avengers: Infinity War."

The new Marvel movie will not start with Spiderman's origin story. It will focus on the balance between his high school life and superhero responsibilities, all the while trying to impress Tony Stark so he can be part of the Avengers.

Cinema Blend reported that the movie probably took place after the events of "Captain America: Civil War." In the trailer, Tony Stark can be seen with a black eye that he has after the infamous superhero face off. Aside from that, Peter Parker can be seen watching footage of the events during the battle in the trailer.

"The inclusion of Iron Man is a huge selling point for the movie. Even though, Tom Holland was great in Captain America: Civil War including Robert Downey Jr.'s Ironman is a great way to get more viewers to watch the film," the site reported.

"Tony Stark and Peter Parker's interaction in the trailer is just plain hilarious. Fans would really love to see the both of them fight the villains in the new film, Shocker and The Vulture," they stressed.

According to the site, "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will let viewers see the feelings of ordinary citizens that are leaving in a superhero world. They believe that this will help expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jobs & Hire reported that "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
