'Dunkirk' News & Updates: The Prologue Of 'Dunkirk' To Be Released This Coming Weekend!

The "Dunkirk" war film prologue will be released in IMAX theaters this coming weekend. The film is based on real historical events, and is expected to be another war masterpiece. In its trailer you can see valorous, courageous and willingness to survive in the fact of death and defeat.

According to News Everyday, Warner Bros released the trailer for assurance that it can run using 35mm to  70mm format in selected IMAX cinemas during the weekend premiere of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story." The prologue will probably reveal some breathtaking and shocking scenes that will make war film fans beg for more.

"Dunkirk" portrays a traditional wartime classic similar to "The Longest Day" and "Saving Private Ryan." The film will be having iconic actors as its cast, and a really endearing multifaceted storyline. The film will be covering the actual events of an eight-day skirmish that has saved the lives of 330,000 Allied servicemen.

The "Dunkirk" film was Christopher Nolan's first attempt on a historically plotted film and it is possibly going to earn him a Best Director award. The historical representation is based on actual events that happened in Dunkirk, France during the World War II. The film is also expected to give Christopher Nolan an opportunity to earn some Academy awards.

The actors who will be playing notable roles in the "Dunkirk" film are, Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Harry Styles, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, and many more star-studded actors.  The film is however not yet confirmed if it will be having a PG-13 or an R-rated rating. Christopher Nolan's previous films were best known for its clandestine and realistic presentations which has earned them an "R" rating.

"Dunkirk" has made a lot of war film fans expect nothing more but appreciation and it is in high hopes that the film will definitely be a good portrayal of the historical events of Dunkirk, France.
