Sarah Hyland is dead. That is based on the circulating news right now about the fatal crash the young actress got into while enjoying a personal vacation a day after the New Year's Eve celebration. However, it was found out later on that the said news was simply another celebrity death hoax.

After reportedly enjoying New Year's Eve with Taylor Swift, young actress Sarah Hyland reportedly met her untimely demise in Turks and Caicos. The 23-year-old actress, famous for playing Haley Dunphy on the hit ABC sitcom Modern Family, allegedly sustained serious injuries in a Jet-Ski accident, according to Global Associated News.

The report even insisted that preliminary investigation on the case led authorities to declare the Sarah Hyland's death after the actress accidentally struck a concrete boat in "a marina on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands."

Furthermore, the death hoax was very believable since it also mentioned a lot of details including the questionable information that Hyland was the only passenger on the watercraft and that it occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. UTC/GMT -4hours.

However, although the report was far from the truth, many fans who stumbled upon the hoax believed it was genuine and they started to express their sympathy to the family of the actress on social media.

Perhaps they didn't notice that at the bottom of the report was a notice saying, "THIS STORY IS 100% FAKE! this is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes! this story was dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and is not factual."

Global Associated News further stated, "Any reference to specific individuals has been 100% fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment."

The site is actually notorious for its celebrity death hoaxes. It was the main culprit behind the alleged deaths of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Woody Harrelson, Tom Hanks, and many others in 2013. Hyland is perhaps the first actress to become victim of a death hoax this 2014.
