'Fifty Shades Darker' SPOILER: 'Man of Steel' Henry Cavill Speaks Up For The First Time

"Man of Steel" lead actor Henry Cavill has been keeping rabid fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" in a frenzy for quite some time now even way back in "Fifty Shades of Grey," when he was being pushed by his followers for the role of Christian Grey.

Well, there may be a chance now that he will be on-board "Fifty Shades Darker" as Mirror reported that Henry Cavill hinted that he may appear as Jack Hyde, the boss of Dakota Johnson's Anastasia Steele.

No confirmation has been given by the producers of the movie yet since the speculations started that Henry Cavill was called on to join "Fifty Shades Darker."

The hype was elevated to soaring heights when Henry Cavill told E! News, "Basically what I can say is I can't say anything about it right now."

Is that a yes or what?! Either way, fans can't stop talking about it and have been celebrating the statement Henry Cavill issued regarding his entry to "Fifty Shades Darker."

Are you done jumping up and down in jubilation? If yes, read on but be warned: major SPOILER ahead!

According to Entertain This!, Henry Cavill was just messing around and playing with your feelings. Yes, you and the rest of the "Fifty Shades Darker" devotees. Why?

Henry Cavill said he's NOT actually playing Jack Hyde! (are those tears welling in your eyes?)

Henry Cavill revealed, "I'm not in 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' I'm for real. I'm just messing with everyone."

He continued on that he made a decision to go down that road because since the success of the "Fifty Shades of Grey," he was hounded to take the role of BDSM-obsessed Christian Grey. He denied it then, but no one believed him.

He remarked that, "The first time around, everyone was asking, 'Are you Christian Grey?' I went 'No!' But no one cared and everyone kept talking about it. This time around, everyone is now still convinced I'm part of the series. Now the question is, 'Are you going to be in 'Fifty Shades Darker?' And I thought, I'm going to try a different tact this time. See what they say.  And so I tried a different tact."

"I thought I'd give everyone a go and then tell everyone the truth a moment later. It's not going to change," he added.

Henry Cavill said he relished seeing the reaction to his comment that he's in "Fifty Shades Darker," and called it "extraordinary."

"I'm going to do something like this again in the future and make a real social experience out of it."

Bad Superman, playing with everyone else's feelings.

Meanwhile, author E.L James recently confirmed that she's written a fresh romance novel and another one is underway.

The best-selling creator of "Fifty Shades of Grey" trilogy disclosed her new work is love-inspired, but she has no idea when it will be published.

She replied in a Q&A on Twitter with her fans that, "I've written a new book and am halfway through another. Both romances. Not sure when I will finish them,'' as per Xpose.

While awaiting her new book releases, avid fans of "Fifty Shades Darker" hope that Henry Cavill will change his mind and will grant their wishes of him joining Jaime Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

Cross your fingers guys and keep calm.
