'Vampire Diaries' Season 7 Cast UPDATE: Two Characters Comes To Mystic Falls [SPOILERS] Plus Nina Dobrev Flaunts PDA-Filled Vacation With Boyfie Austin Stowell, Rubs It In Ex Ian Somerhalder

Everybody's favorite CW TV show, "Vampire Diaries" Season 7, is getting busy with filming and production and now that Elena Gilbert is fast asleep, fans wonder what would happen to Mystic Falls without their beloved heroine and how they would cope with the tragic events that happened at the end of Season 6.

PopSugar had a one-on-one with "Vampire Diaries" Season 7 star Ian Somerhalder and he dished out some awesome details regarding the upcoming season.

The newlywed Ian Somerhalder said that his character Damon Salvatore is a "hands-down lushy, smarmy drunk." He also pointed out that Damon and Bonnie had that love-hate relationship which "sounds like a beautiful recipe for disaster and amazingness."

The hunky actor further expressed that "Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will see the old Damon back. "Damon was this super volatile and very unpredictable guy. He wasn't very a nice a lot of the time, but he was vulnerable. People can respect that, and it draws them in," the actor said.

That is definitely interesting and something to look forward to for Damon fans who are aching to find out how he would handle the love of his life being temporarily out of the picture.

Meanwhile, there would be new additions to spice things up in Mystic Falls. According to The Wrap, Tim Kang and Todd Lasance will join the CW supernatural drama.

Kang is Oscar, an easygoing stoner who hides a surprising association with the Salvatores. His relaxed lifestyle will be interrupted when an intervention via supernatural ways transforms him into a savage killer.

Lasance on the other hand is Julian, depicted as a feared and legendary immortal who is renowned for excelling in earthly amusements. He fears ambiguity which is an unlikely outcome since he's constantly on the run, leaving pandemonium in his wake.

Returning stars include Paul Wesley, Candice Accola, Michael Malarkey, Ian Somerhalder and Kat Graham. Since its leading lady was written off, focus on the succeeding seasons would be on Stefan and Damon, the Salvatore brothers.

Speaking of "Vampire Diaries'" former leading lady, Nina Dobrev seemed to have no care in the world as she embarked in a fabulous St. Tropez getaway with new beau Austin Stowell.

Celeb Dirty Laundry divulged that Nina Dobrev has been flaunting her new relationship without even caring that the paparazzi were having a field day of taking shots of their PDA. Others thought that the display was over-the-top. Could it be that Nina was rubbing it in ex Ian Somerhalder's face? He allegedly unfollowed her on Twitter recently.

The new couple were kissing and couldn't seem to keep their hands off each other as they jumped on jet skis and relaxed aboard a yacht. This type of display was done by Nina's ex, Ian Somerhalder, and ex-friend Nikki Reed when they first hooked up. Was Nina sending out a message to Ian and Nikki?

Perhaps the rumors were true that one of Nina Dobrev's reason for quitting "The Vampire Diaries" was because she couldn't take it that Ian was quick to replace her after their breakup that he even went on to get married with Nikki Reed.

Whatever the case maybe, "Vampire Diaries" Season 7 will be welcomed by fans who await the next adventures of the gang from Mystic Falls.
