'Supernatural' Season 11: Expect Major Things To Happen With The Winchester Brothers; What Happens Now That Death Is Gone?

Fans of the Winchester brothers portrayed by Teen Choice Award winners Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles are awaiting "Supernatural" Season 11 to return to their TV screens on Oct.7 as it left an intriguing ending in the finale of Season 10.

Popsugar caught up with Misha Collins, who plays Castiel, and the actor divulged details that will surely excite the show followers.

So, it's safe to expect that major things are going to happen with Dean and Sam Winchester in "Supernatural" Season 11.

Misha Collins said that Castiel would still be under the power of Rowena's spell. He also talked about his expectations for next season as he shared, "I think it is going to be a good season! We are changing what is happening on the show. This season is going to be about reuniting us against a big bad, which is something we have done before, but it is changing it up."

The actor also added that his character Castiel and Dean will put their animosity aside and fight against a common adversary. He said, "I think that they are aware that the presence of The Darkness is actually their fault and they have to clean up the mess that they have made."

Spinoff online reported that producers Andrew Dabb and Jeremy Carver discussed the grand design of Darkness and the consequences of vanquishing Death.

So what is it with Darkness and the Winchester siblings.

Jeremy Carver said, "For starters, it becomes fully apparent what the Darkness wants. It's not just a threat for the boys, but a threat to angels and demons as well. In some ways, it's a more global threat."

Dean will also face repercussions from what he did to Death in Season 10. Dabb revealed, "There will definitely be repercussions, which we'll start to explore in Episode 2. Death is a cosmic being. There has always been a Death. Once he goes missing, it creates some issues, particularly among souls, particularly among reapers."

According to International Business Times, in the finale episode of Season 10, Jensen Ackles' Dean killed Death using his own Scythe, which caught the viewers by surprise considering that Dean made an agreement with the Reaper that the eldest Winchester would be allowed to live in a distant place.

Looks like things would get ugly when the Winchester brothers and Castiel face the Darkness together.

Catch "Supernatural" Season 11 when it premieres on CW on Oct. 7.
