"Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 continues to deliver more horrifying scenes. And with the imminent collapse of Los Angeles in Episode 3, it would certainly be a nail-biting battle between the living and the zombies. So, can Travis save his family from the impending doom?
While "The Walking Dead" prequel skipped a week in celebration of Labor Day, "Fear of Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 3 titled, "The Dog" returns Sunday as riots in Los Angeles break out. So, just to give fans a glimpse of what the third episode may bring, here are 5 nail-biting scenes to watch out for.
1. As the chaos becomes more horrible in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 3, Travis and his family managed to escape the dangerous riots and they set out to find refuge. According to Christian Today, the third episode caps the first half of the season as it will also run for six episodes.
2. "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 3 marks the beginning of the zombie virus. Thus, a marked increase in violence and action will be seen in the series, with zombies lurking in all places, Melty noted. It is also the start of Los Angeles' collapse.
3. As the characters managed to figure a way out in one piece, Los Angeles can be seen how badly stricken the city is as zombies wreak havoc in the city. As per Carter Matt, the most terrifying moment is watching someone infected with the virus being brutally murdered because zombies are hard to kill.
4. With addition to the lack of electricity in "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 3, Christian Post revealed that the barbershop where Travis, Liza, Chris and the Salazar family were staying had caught on fire. And Griselda Salazar was seen injured by falling scaffolding.
"After they escape a riot, Travis, Liza, and Chris seek refuge with the Salazars; Madison defends her home," the third episode's synopsis reads.
5. As a slow burn on the series has slowly been evolving toward the terrors of the "The Walking Dead," "Fear the Walking Dead" Season 1 Episode 3 depicts the threshold of non-stop action and horror for the unorthodox family of survivors. While Travis and the rest of the crew are still uncomfortable with the idea of killing the zombies, they will fight against all odds just to stay alive, Latin Post has learned.
