According to E! News, the exes put aside their differences and enjoyed a family outing at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California on Monday. Together with their daughter, the ex-couple, whose divorce came after 11 years of marriage, filled the day with rollercoaster and swing rides.
More than two decades ago, Giada De Laurentiis met Todd Thompson when she was just a 19-year-old college student and her ex-husband was 20-years old. As previously reported, De Laurentiis was an epitome of a great wife and mother before she announced her divorce in December. She also shared some insights on her marriage, which came with extra efforts due to popularity.
"I think it can be hard for any man to sometimes be upstaged by his wife," the celebrity chef revealed in a 2011 Redbook interview. "So when I'm home, I work very hard to be Todd's wife and Jade's mother. I have no problem going back to those traditional roles. I try to be Giada, the young girl that he met 20 years ago and fell in love with."
