The "Fast and Furious" franchise has already planned three more films and as early as now the brains behind the successful movies were already talking spin-offs and prequel like that of Disney's "Star Wars" and Marvel's "Avengers" standalone flicks.

Vin Diesel who plays Dom Terreto disclosed to Variety that they have penned "Fast and Furious'" various characters story lines. He said, “We’ve been playing with it for a long time. It’s a very rich property and we’re committed to treating it with a lot of class.”

Universal Pictures Chairman Donna Langley validated, “We’re certainly in conversations about how we can expand the franchise now."

"It’s an ensemble cast and there’s room to bring characters in and out.”

With the news that a "Fast and Furious" spin-off may happen soon, the studio continues to prioritize "Fast and Furious 8" and the two subsequent final films.

With "The Fast and the Furious" deep bench of casts that includes, Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the possibilities presented for a spin-off are endless.

Cinema Blend reported that the high-octane franchise whose success soared high with "Fast and Furious 7" raked in more than $1.5 billion.

Furthermore, there is ample room for a spin-off featuring its characters. In a way, the third movie,"The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" was already a sort of "Fast and Furious" spin-off as the storyline explored a different time and followed another batch of characters. Even if the plot was farther from the main chronology the characters were eventually linked together.

Although top honchos at Universal and the franchise's moving force, Vin Diesel has confirmed that they're discussing the development of a "Fast and Furious" spin-off, they did not point out which characters will have their own solo movies.

According to MTV News, the possibilities may include the following:

1. "The Fast and Furious: 1327" — this "Fast and Furious" spin-off would be a prequel that would chronicle Mia and Dom's life in Los Angeles and the first time he took a spin in his beloved Charger.

2. “The Fast & The Furious: London Calling” — this could be Letty's "Fast and Furious" spin-off together with the Shaw brothers, Deckard and Owen. Remember Letty was kidnapped by Owen Shaw, which he revealed in "Fast and Furious 4."

3. “Fast & Furious: Agent Hobbs” — Dwayne Johnson's addition in the "Fast and Furious" franchise amped up its fandom and it would be great for fans if he would get his own "Fast and Furious" spin-off.
