However, latest spoilers and updates about the upcoming adventure of Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven and Olaf are getting more interesting and exciting. There are also a lot of speculations surrounding the movie but take note, the film is probably on the early phase of development so nothing is official yet unless confirmed.

While "Frozen 2" will still be centered on Anna and Elsa, Olaf will also have his fair share of the spotlight as the film delve deeper into his character. And as Disney focused more on the development of Anna and Elsa's characters individually, "Frozen" director Chris Buck revealed that he is not going to keep a happy ending on the sequel, Movie News Guide reported. Instead, they are going to be polar opposite to each other.

Aside from the unhappy ending in "Frozen 2," here are 4 latest scoops about Disney's upcoming blockbuster movie sequel.

1. "Frozen 2" will have a societal impact plot?

Apart from focusing on the development of Anna and Elsa's individual characters, Buck revealed that the overall concept of the film is a "very strong one," which MTV suggested it could be about the LGBT cause.

"Jen [Lee] and I are just getting back into the story room together and throwing ideas around," Buck said. "We have an overall idea, a concept, which I think is a very strong one. I'm very excited about doing it. We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with. I think we're very aware of what is happening in society."

2. A big duet in "Frozen 2?"

Following the success of "Let It Go," a big duet is expected to conquer the upcoming sequel.

"I think they'll definitely try to position one song as a "Let It Go"-trumping central number," Telegraph Film Critic's Tim Robey said. "At a guess, though, it might be a duet between the sisters. They only shared about four scenes in the first film."

3. Anna becomes evil while Elsa becomes weak in "Frozen 2"

The upcoming sequel is indeed having a very interesting plot, which will keep Queen Elsa on the side of goodness, leaving her weak. Anna, on the other hand, will turn evil because of jealousy and will steal her sister's power.

4. Olaf will fall in love in "Frozen 2?"

Rumors have it that Olaf will fall in love in the upcoming sequel, Crossmap noted. However, it is quite uncertain whether Olaf's love interest will be human form or made of snow. According to The Telegraph, Olaf having a girlfriend would be important for Disney since the new angle will not only make the plot more exciting, it will also lift merchandise sales. Plus, the idea of Olaf's falling in love will definitely "send the cuteness factor over the edge."

While the first movie installment mostly featured Elsa isolating herself, "Frozen 2" will focus more on her becoming happier, Movie Pilot has learned.

"[In Frozen] she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again," the film's directors said. "That's what was really good about the short [Frozen Fever] - we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality ... you will see in the next one."
