US hotel Firm Starwood Projected To Provide Jobs In Cuba

Ironic as it may seem but it appears that every company out there has seen the potential of Cuba to increase their revenues. In line with that, an influx of investors are presently flocking to Cuba. Among the firms, U.S. hotel corporation Starwood is one of the companies that has altered the business history.

According to a post from BBC, "Starwood will renovate and run three hotels in the Cuban capital, Havana and its spokesman for the company said they would be making a multimillion-dollar investment to bring the hotels up to our standards."

The same report added on to note that the tourism industry is Cuba is currently at its peak. Given the rising figures of  US visitors, the timing is just right for Starwood. As the loosening of the travel restrictions were affirmed and even President Obama confirmed it as well.

With that in mind, Starwood is brimming with much potential as it overtakes a new era of hotel services in Cuba and bagged the title of having the biggest takeover of an American company in history. On the other hand, from hotels, to money transfers, even cruise ships are allowed to join the business frenzy in the region as well, according to a past report of Jobs & Hire. The report mentioned that Carnival Cruises can set sail in Cuba as well.

The influx of investors such as Starwood Hotels marks an era of economic stability and job availability for the region. This strategic move will not only benefit the company but it is also forecast to uplift the lives of the Cuban people too.
