Samsung Galaxy S7 Specs Bested By HTC M10?

The HTC M10 is reportedly better than the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs. This comes after a photo of the phone's AnTuTu results was leaked.

According to Phone Arena, an image of the HTC M10's results was leaked after it went through AnTuTu's benchmark test. It is believed that the picture, shared by an anonymous sender from Taiwan, was legit.

It was revealed that the HTC M10 scored 156,000 points on AnTuTu. This is more than what the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs was able to get as well as Xiaomi's Mi 5. It sits ahead of the iPhone 6S, Huawei Mate 8 and Galaxy Note 5, among others.

TechnoBuffalo noted that, although the HTC device did have a great score, it doesn't guarantee a significant difference in terms of everyday usage. "In other words, an end user might not see a difference on a phone just because one scores 140,000 in AnTuTu and another scores 150,000," the website wrote.

BGR reported that a supposed render of the HTC M10's design has also been leaked. It revealed a mix of elements from the iPhone 6S and the Galaxy S7 but with the distinct HTC look.

It was rumored that the HTC M10 will have a 5.1-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixels for screen resolution. The upcoming HTC phone will also feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB RAM as well as a "12-UltraPixel resolution and laser-assisted autofocus."

The HTC M10 release date may be revealed next month. The device will be unveiled at a web event scheduled on Apr. 12.

It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy S7 specs will feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It will also have a battery capacity of up to 3,000 mAh.

It was also revealed that the S7 has an IP68 rating. This means that the device can go in waters as deep as 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.
