In a tragic encounter, Christina Grimme passed away after being fatally shot during a fan autograph session in Orlando, Flordida. On June 11, 2016, she passed away. She was 22 years old. Her death was met with sadness but many still remember her for her play-by-ear talent that earned her a substantial net worth.

Remembering her past work, at the time, she did what most teenagers did. She posted her talent on Youtube and covered songs by Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Christina Aguilera, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. Since then she gained over hundreds of millions of views. She became a sensational hit which was why Selena Gomez's stepfather, Brian Teefey, became her manager.

And though she didn't make it to the top spot in "The Voice," Adam Levine still took a chance on her and signed her onto his label, 222 record. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she had an estimated $800,000 net worth. Grimmie earned a cool hundred to two hundred thousand every year from her yearly releases.

Now, the world mourns the loss of a great artist. The whole music community has opened their hearts to Christina Grimmie. E Online reports that Selena Gomez got emotional in Miami. She dedicated her song "Transfiguration" to her dear friend. "One thing about Christina and her family is that she holds her faith so closely to her," Selena said. "I think it's not about a religion and it's not about good deeds. I think she just had faith and I don't really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this song to her." She said this to her audience while in tears.

Many artists also mourned of her passing. Fifth Harmony dedicated a moment of silence for Grimmie. "She was nothing but nice to us, so humble. We love you. We're praying for your family and we know that you're smiling down from above. Let's all remember her. Christina Grimmie," Tweeted the band.
