While Kim Kardashian goes back to normal routine, more unsettling truths are slowly unraveling. Finally, Abdulrahman, the hotel's duty concierge (caretaker) spoke to the media and detailed facts about the jewelry robbery.
It seems the hotel concierge, who was on duty during Kardashian's robbery has a great deal to tell. He has come forward to tell how he saw the crime, Abdulrahman---as he prefers to be called told that he was handcuffed and held at gunpoint along with the reality star.
Here are some of his shocking revelations:
1. Kim's jewelry are not the target.
The star is not an intentional mark; the suspects were ready to rob anyone. The gunmen were interested in all of the hotel's celebrity guest. They specifically asked, "Who is in the hotel?" stated Abdulrahman in his interview with Entertainment Tonight. There are other clienteles such as Robin Thicke; everyone could have been a target.
2. The robbers' initial interest was money.
Abdulrahman, the hotel staff, initially thought the criminals were really just after the celebrity's money. They kept on asking for money; he continued that instead of cash they got hold of Kim's ring at first. The box containing $7 million worth of jewelry were just a bonus.
3. The hotel's security is casual.
The hotel's security measures have been under fire as the robbery issue continues. It is now revealed that indeed they really need a massive reconstruction of security details.
Yahoo News quotes Abdulrahman, "I told [the robber] there is no camera, he was very angry," he says. "He was like amazed. 'Are you kidding me? No camera here?' ... I found it difficult to explain why there was not cameras in the hotel."
Since the incident Kim Kardashian has been out of the social media loop, she was said to be continuing her Keeping Up with the Kardashians at least. Her latest update was on her husband's show at the Forum in Inglewood, California.
