'Daredevil' Season 3 News & Updates: Jason Statham Is Bullseye? Cast Members Against His Bullseye Casting

After two successful seasons of "Daredevil," the Marvel Netflix series is now on its third season and they already have quite the arsenal of villains added to the mix. The Kingpin, Elektra, The Hand, and Punisher have already made their mark as antagonists in the show. Now all that's left is Bullseye.

Bullseye is the ever cold-blooded assassin that has a knack for turning even the most inconspicuous of objects into a lethal weapon. This bigshot villain is rumored to be played by Jason Statham in "Daredevil" Season 3, Game N Guide reported.

The ratings of the show will definitely skyrocket if they cast Jason Statham as the vigilante hero's archenemy. However, it has yet to be confirmed that Statham will take the role of Bullseye in "Daredevil" Season 3.

The show's star Charlie Cox is valiantly fighting to bring in this big bad boss into the hit Marvel Netflix series. However, his co-stars aren't so hyped about throwing Bullseye into the mix. In fact, the totally disagree.

In the source material, the villain Bullseye is the iconic murderer who killed two of Murdock's love interests. Namely, Elektra and Karen Page who are played by Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll. Therefore, the debut of Bullseye may also mean their exit from the show. Of course, they wouldn't be thrilled about that.

According to Slashfilm, during the Wizard World Pittsburgh, Charlie Cox had this to say about the Bullseye controversy:

"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it's a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn't want Bullseye to show up either."

In a previous report, it was mentioned that the earliest premiere of "Daredevil" Season 3 would be by 2018. Moreover, it is also said that this upcoming season will be the last for Marvel Netflix's "Daredevil," so they might as well bring in the big guns.
