The long-running daytime soap opera, "The Young and the Restless" has been extremely successful since 2013. Since the show first aired in 1973, it gained a lot of hits to viewers. As speculations surpassed that the American TV show has a franchise cancellation, fans expressed their great dismay.

"The Young and the Restless" is a long-running American TV series which was co-created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. As the show was aired in 1973, it continuously going to the top. Based on 2003 survey on the most watched show for the last 25 years, it appeared that "The Young and the Restless" continuously going to the top spot.

There were speculations circulated that "The Young and the Restless" had a franchise cancellation. On its 44 seasons, IMDb users have given the show a low rating of 5.2 out of 10. Perhaps, it could be the reason of show's franchise cancellation.
