The highly anticipated game "Nier Automata" is said to have its release date coming soon and the best part is, the game is no longer limited to the PlayStation 4 console. "Nier Automata" will be available for those on PC and both versions are expected to be released on March 7, 2017.
The fans' excitement is vigorously being fanned as numerous sources confirm that "Nier Automata" will be available for PC gamers as well. Looking back, the original "NieR" game was limited to PlayStation 4 players only. Needless to say, players who weren't on PlayStation 4 found the game's eerieness intriguing and wanted to experience the game as well.
It seems that Square Enix has heard and listened to those players' prayers because they are releasing a PC version of the game's sequel "NieR Automata." According to Game N Guide, the popular cult RPG will be released on March 7, 2017 for PlayStation. A Square Enix rep confirmed that the PC version for "Nier Automata" will be released on the same day.
Things could not have gotten any better at this point, which later leads to heartbreaking news. Apparently, the Square Enix rep was badly misinformed about the PC release date for "Nier Automata." Moreover, the official release date schedule is March 7, 2017, for North America and March 10, 2017, for Europe.
The miss information is definitely dire news while the official release date for "Nier Automata" is still unknown. However, as a consolation, Square Enix is releasing a Demo of the highly-anticipated game before the year ends. According to Gematsu, a "NieR Automata" demo will be released via the PlayStation Store on December 22 for players in Japan. Moreover, the western demo for the game is likely to be released in the same week.
It is worth mentioning that players can now pre-order "NieR Automata" directly from Square Enix. There are a variety of versions to choose from, including the "One Day Edition" which gives players exclusive digital content or aesthetic purposes. Moreover, there is also an "Exclusive Steelbook Edition" available which includes everything the "One Day Edition" has plus a cool metal case. The "Black Box Edition" is also available for pre-order and it includes everything above plus the special collector's box that has a hardback artbook, figurines, and a soundtrack disc.
