Competing in the singles, Male category are six equally talented skaters from around the world. Although most bets are on Yuri Katsuki, Yuri Plisetsky and Jean-Jaques Leroy or JJ, iTech Post believes all six male contenders are well-deserving to be on the final round.

But before their blades scratch on the Ice ring, let's take a closer look at our Grand Prix 2016 finalists. Starting off with the youngest but definitely not the least Yuri Plisetsky.

Plisetsky is a 15-year old Russian skater, the youngest among 6 contestants. He is one of the toughest opponents of Yuri Katsuki. An arrogant skater, Yuri (or Yurio in Japan) is an incredible figure skater with three consecutive Junior World Championship titles. He is ring mates with Yuri K's coach Victor Nikiforov.

Next is the representative of Kazakhstan, the 18-year old Otabek Altin. He is said to be perceived as an introvert bad boy yet his shy personality flourished in the "Yuri!!! On Ice" reached its episode 10. His performance is yet to be witnessed and remained to be mysterious up to now though he is remarkably great, as per the same report.

He is followed by JJ or Jean-Jaques Leroy, a 19-year old Canadian figure skater. He is the leading contender with now two golds. However, as per the iTech Post's report, the manga somehow showed a hint where he might not make it to the top. JJ is among the toughest opponent of Yuri with perfect and flawless performances on the ice skating rink.

Next is Thailand's pride Phichit Chulanont. He is 20 years old who won the Cup of China and is remarkable for his lively performance on the ring. Following is Christophe Giacometti of Swetzerland. He is the eldest among the figure skater finalists at 25 years old. He is remarkable to have great sex appeal and stage presence as well as great moves on the rink.

Last is none other than Japan's number one skater and "Yuri!!! On Ice" protagonist Yuri Kasuki. He is 24 and second oldest contender next to Christophe. Aside from the passion for skating he has been showing throughout the series, Yuri is also a talented skater with his perfect and smooth moves. However, the source revealed a risk he will take in the upcoming episodes which is including a quad flip in his final performance in order to advance in the competition.
