Amanda Andino, a recruiting trainer at a Fortune 500 company, told Business News Daily, that a lot of people base their career choices on how much money they're going to make. This usually leads to people getting a job that they might not really be passionate about because it pays well.

Asking that question will help them take a step back assess if they're really intent on working there or they're just happy that they're wanted or because the pay is high.

The first tip is to is to know first what you want and what you don't want in a job. This could mean that assessing certain factors such as benefits, working environment, location, opportunities for growth, and colleagues. Assessing these factors will help you know what is important and what is not, which can help determine your criteria for the right job.

The second tip is to ask for help or advice. Sometimes asking advice from a professional, a friend or a family member, can help you see other aspects of what the right job is. It doesn't mean, though, that you have to follow the advice, just listen to it and see if it's something that makes sense for you.

The last tip is to be open to all the possibilities. Sometimes what you think and perceive to be the right job, is not actually the one that's right for you. There are moments when unexpected opportunities or possibilities that present themselves to you could be the right career that you're looking for, so keep an open mind and be open to all possibilities.
