'Pokémon The Movie: I Choose You!' Premiering On July 2017!

The "Pokémon" has been one of the most popular anime TV series, movies, games, and many more. Just recently an announcement was made by Oha Suta (Good Morning Star). They announced that a new "Pokémon" movie is in the works and it is titled "Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!"

According to a report from News Everyday, they stated that Oha Suta (Good Morning Star) has also featured a teaser poster of the upcoming "Pokémon" movie, and also a teaser trailer video. Despite the series having its 7^th generation with the anime "Pokémon Sun and Moon," they still decided to get back from where the journey has started.

The film is in dedication to the roots of "Pokémon" anime, which will be featuring the iconic scene where Ash will be seeing a legendary Pokémon for the first time. "Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You!" has also mirrored the first title of the anime series in 1997 titled "Pokémon: I Choose You!" The upcoming film may also be a tribute for the 20^th anniversary of the "Pokémon" franchise.

According to Anime News Network, the most recent film was "Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanincal Marvel," the said film debuted in Japan on July 16, 2016. The English dubbed version has debuted on television channel Disney XD in the United States on the 5^th of December 2016.

In the trailer video of "Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!" Ash will be seen grabbing a pokéball from a table. It might be Pikachu's pokéball, and since everyone is familiar with Ash starting his journey with his favorite pokémon Pikachu. You will also see that Ash is wearing his outfit from the first season of the "Pokémon" anime series.

This film might be hinting that "Pokémon" will go back to its roots and maybe start again with the adventures of Ash in the Kanto region. The poster released features Ash and Pikachu gazing to the sky and looking at Ho-oh as it flies above them.

This iconic scene might also be hinting that the "Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!" will begin its story from where Ash saw Ho-oh, since Ho-oh was the legendary pokémon that Ash saw back in the day when he began his journey to become a pokémon master. "Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You!" will premiere on July 15, 2017 in Japan. Watch the trailer below, and subscribe for more updates!
