The “Food Wars! Shokugeki No Soma” loyal viewers will have something great to look forward to now that the new trailer for its Original Video Animation (OVA) is out. The promotional video introduces the infamous members of the Council of Ten.
The trailer serves as a confirmation that the OVA will have the appearance of the elite Council of Ten in the manga series. There are no full details given on how the Council of Ten will be in series. It is not certain if they will be beneficial or not to Soma Yukihira. However, there was a teaser image wherein Yukihira and Eishi Tsukasa are up for something. There might be a chance for them to compete in a “Shokugeki” or “Food War”, as reported by the Inquisitr.
The official website of the television anime series began streaming the promotional video for its Original Anime DVD (OAD). According to Anime News Network, the new trailer for the Original Video Animation was released last Saturday, Dec. 17.
The said DVD will ship in as part of the special edition bundle on July 4, 2017. The bundle will be with Yūto Tsukuda and Shun Saeki's 25th “Food Wars! Shokugeki No Soma” manga volume. It was also reported that the 24th volume of Tsukuda and Saeki’s manga also bundling in DVD. It debuted last November 27 during Jump Special Anime Festa event. It is scheduled to ship on May 2.
Meanwhile, Jobs & Hire shared that the “Food Wars! Shokugeki No Soma” DVD’s packaging matters a lot as well. That is why the DVD/Blu-ray covers showed good and interesting artworks of both Soma Yukihira and Erina Nakiri. Reportedly, the anime’s second season has seven Blu-ray discs and it cost around 6,500 yen for the six discs and 4,500 yen for the seventh one.
