‘Heroes Reborn’: 3 Original ‘Heroes’ Cast Not Returning For NBC’s New Series — Where Are They Now?

"Heroes Reborn" creator and producer Tim Kring already revealed that the series will pick up five years from the original "Heroes." A six-episode mini series called "Dark Matters" will bridge the gap between the two series.

New cast members, like Ryan Guzman and Zachary Levi, will be featured in "Heroes Reborn." It has been reported earlier that few of the original cast, like Jack Coleman's Noah Bennet, Greg Grunberg's Matt Parkman, Sendhil Ramamurthy's Mohinder Suresh, Masi Oka's Hiro Nakamura and The Haitian played by Jimmy Jean-Louis will be returning.

Some original cast members are not coming back, though. Let's find out where these three prominent "Heroes" casts are at now.

1. Hayden Panettiere

Remember what Hiro Nakamura used to say? "Save the cheerleader, save the world."

Panettiere was that cheerleader. She played the character of Claire Bennet, the daughter of Primatech's Noah Bennet, who has the power of regeneration.

"Heroes'," two years after it ended, Panettiere landed the role in "Nashville" as Juliette Barnes. Barnes is a country singer-songwriter who will try to take the "Queen of Country" title from Rayna Jaymes, played by Connie Britton.

Just recently, she and Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler filmed an episode together and shared a snap while on the set, US Magazine reported.

2. Milo Ventimiglia

Do you still remember that guy who works as a hospice nurse who was really confused with what his powers were? Only to find out later that he can absorb the powers of other evolved humans.

That was Ventimiglia, who played the role of Peter Petrelli. In April, USA Today reported that he landed the role Jason Lennon, also known as the Ogre, in "Gotham."

Ventimiglia, together with his "Gotham" co-stars Ben McKenzie and Sean Pertwee, attended the 2015 Wizard World Comic Con Chicago on Aug. 23, according to Just Jared.

3. Zachary Quinto

The villain always gives spice to the show, and "Heroes" had its own that will never be forgotten — Sylar. His ability, intuitive aptitude, was unique among the others.

Remember how he became a serial killer, targeting all those evolved humans? If Peter can absorb other evos' powers without hurting them, Slyar was the opposite because he forcefully took them by opening up his victim's brain.

Quinto is currently filming "Star Trek Beyond," according to IMDb. He plays the role of Spock, a human/Vulcan hybrid, who served with Starfleet in the 23rd century.

The current plot of the film is still unknown, but it will be under the tutelage of Justin Lin. His new film is slated to be released on July 8, 2016.

Fans don't forget to mark your calendars. "Heroes Reborn" will have its two-hour premiere on Sept. 24 on NBC.
