Beyonce And Jay Z Only Got Together To Boost 'Brand', New Book Claims

Beyonce and Jay Z were allegedly "not into" each other when they first met but just thought about boosting their "brands" that's why they decided to give the relationship a try.

Beyonce and Jay Z met in 2002 and exchanged vows in 2008. Now, they are one of the most powerful, music couple that people talk about. However, according to celebrity journalist J. Randy Taraborrelli, the author of a new book that made some shocking allegations about the couple, Beyonce and Jay Z just agreed to date with the hope that their relationship could give "credibility" to the Halo singer and attract more publicity for Jay Z.

Taraborrelli claimed that Bey was first disgusted with her future husband as she even reputedly replied "Eww" after she was asked if she could see herself as Jay Z's wife.

The author also alleged that Jay Z's mentor Jaz-O purportedly told him that the rapper admitted that being linked to the singer was an "opportunity."

"The way I saw it, it was more calculated than romantic," Jaz-O was allegedly quoted saying, then adding, "He was thinking about his brand as much as his heart. He can smell opportunity."

Rapper Choke No Joke who once worked with Jay Z as a videographer on his record label Rocafella, also claimed that Beyonce appeared at the right time to increase Jay's revenue.

"There's no question she helped him get more revenue by putting her brand next to his," said the rapper. "Call it fate, call it manipulation, whatever, Beyonce came along at the right time in his life."

Although the book alleged that the couple just started dating for the sake of their "brands", after some time, the couple eventually fell for each other after they saw each other's good side.

The biography also claimed that couple split three years before their marriage as Beyonce prioritized her career and that drove Jay Z away, as per Metro.
