'Wolverine 3' Set Photos Leaked; Title Revealed?

New "Wolverine 3" set photos have been released. The images showed Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart's reunion as well as a character who might be X-23.

Just Jared reported that the "Wolverine 3" set photos showed Hugh Jackman pushing Patrick Stewart in a wheelchair. The stars were filming scenes for the upcoming movie earlier this month in New Orleans, La.

Hugh Jackman is reprising his role as Logan/Wolverine. Patrick Stewart is making a special appearance as Charles Xavier, also known as Professor X, in the sequel.

The "Wolverine 3" set photos showed Jackman and Stewart's scene where they rushed out of a casino and went into a truck. The scene also included a young actress which is rumored to be taking on X-23's role.

According to ComicBookMovie.com, the young actress in the "Wolverine 3" set photos could possibly be X-23's younger version. The actress seemed to have been shot in the chest but appeared fine, leading to speculations that she is the young mutant.

The rumors began when it was revealed that Fox is looking for someone between the ages of 12 and 15 to play the character. The young actress may be playing the young Laura Kinney whom Logan and Charles Xavier will end up saving.

Independent noted that Fox Studios has registered two new titles which may be the official name of "Wolverine 3." The titles are: "Weapon X" and "Wolverine: Weapon X."

"Wolverine 3" would be Hugh Jackman's last stint as the character. It would also mark the beginning of a new wave of "X-Men" films set after the events of "Apocalypse."

Previous speculations claimed that "Wolverine 3" would focus on the "Old Man Logan" story arc. However, this recent development seems to point towards X-23.

This would definitely connect with the post-credits scene in "X-Men: Apocalypse" where a mysterious man took the last vial of Wolverine's blood. He then placed it in his briefcase which was marked with Essex Corp. This led to speculations that Nathaniel Essex, a.k.a. Mister Sinister, will be the "Wolverine 3" villain.
