'Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness' Gameplay, News & Updates: Xbox One Version Updates English Patch; Western Version To Arrive In 2017

"Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" was released for Xbox One in Asia back in 2015. The highly-awaited English patch has finally been implemented. Western players will also have the game on Steam by 2017.

"Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness," tells the story of the future. A future where in a person's mental state and disposition can be quantified. Meaning the emotional tendencies of a person can be identified to determine the possibility of criminal behavior. This new system can also be used to lead a better life, a happier life.

Looking back, "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" was released in Asia on Xbox one in 2015. While the global release for PlayStation vita and PlayStation 4 was in 2016.

It is worth mentioning that the Xbox One version was only made available in Asia, hence the absence of an English language option. In recent tweet from 5pb the shared that the Xbox One version of "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" will have a new patch that will include an English Language option.

This new update lets players of "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" Asian Xbox version enjoy the game in English. However, the company also mentioned that the Japanese version is not included in this new English patch.

It is worth mentioning that the Xbox One is region-free, meaning that the console can play physical copies of the game regardless of where it is from. In a previous post from Gematsu, the PC version of the game on Steam should have arrived this fall. 

However, a recent report suggests otherwise. According to Anime News Network the Steam (windows) version of "Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness" will arrive in 2017 instead. With all these new updates on the belove anime-based visual novel, fans from all over the world will soon be able to experience the greatness of this mystery solving game.
