NBA Trade Speculations: Golden State Warriors Bids Goodbye To Andre Iguodala? Los Angeles Lakers Interested

The Golden State Warriors has always been in the rumor mill since their defeat in last season's NBA finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the Golden State Warriors also acquiring Kevin Durant in the offseason, NBA trade speculations have been made that they could trade anyone anytime soon.  Rumors have it that the Los Angeles Lakers might be interested in Andre Iguodala in exchange for Nick Young, Lou Williams or Julius Randle.

The Warriors were once rumored to trade Klay Thompson but it seems that they are sticking to their superteam now according to NBA.com. All the NBA trade speculations surrounding Thompson weren't true. But it's still not sure whether the Warriors would just stick to their lineup now to improve its roster because the team still lacks depth in their bench.

Salary cap problems are also surrounding the Warriors and according to Headlines & Global News, there's a possibility that Iguodala could be traded next year. There isn't enough room having Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant in the team so letting go of Iguodala would be the best option for them.

According to Spotrac, Iguodala would become a free agent in 2017 and his current salary is around $11M. This is the kind of problem that analysts predicted that the Warriors might let go of key players to make room for Durant.

Now, the Latin Post reports that the Lakers are also reportedly shopping some players and one notable name would be Julius Randle. The Lakers could wait for Randle to bloom first before they think of trading him since the young forward has been putting up good numbers lately.

Another option for the Lakers would also be trading Nick Young or Lou Williams since the Lakers' backcourt is currently full. Having two rising stars like D'Angelo Russel and Jordan Clarkson, the Lakers could make some room and get some stability in the 3-spot by getting Iguodala.

These are only NBA trade speculations and there haven't been official statements from the both teams' front offices. But it would be good to see these two teams get the deal done and have their rosters improve.
