According to GameNGuide, Carter Matt suggested that this could possibly the last season of the show though "Hawaii Five-O" season 7 had already started filming new episodes. In addition, it was reported that the possible reason of "Hawaii Five-O" season 7 was about to end due to poor ratings.
Since "Hawaii Five-O" changed its timeslot to Friday, ratings kept spiraling down. As the news released, CBS was disappointed on its rating as it was rumored that the said network dropped the show. Though many speculations were circulated online, there were no confirmations yet about the said cancellation.
As it was remembered, Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams were on-screen couples, their bromance did not help in boosting up "Hawaii Five-O" ratings. As what the remarks of the said TV series, it seemed that the 'bromance scene' of the aforementioned Hollywood actors did not work well.
According to the report, the cast of "Hawaii Five-O" was gathered in Waikiki for a traditional blessing before they've started filming on its season 7. It appeared that their "Hawaii Five-O" season 7 blessing ceremony might be their last.
