'NCIS' Season 14 Cancellation Update: David McCallum and Mark Harmon Will Be Leaving The Show?

After Michael Weatherly left "NCIS" season 14, the said TV series has been put to a big test. As rumors circulating online that the long-running TV series would cancel its franchise due to poor ratings, Mark Harmon also rumored to leave the show.

Over recent episodes, fans and followers of "NCIS" noticed that the 'Primetime Emmy Award' nominee, Mark Harmon looked thin. Vivid fans have taken to social media to express their concern about Harmon's appearance. It was believed that the 65-year old actor has a health problem. Was this the possible reason of rumored Mark Harmon's departure?

As the news released by Yahoo, Ellen DeGeneres was bumped from the top spot by "NCIS" actor, Mark Harmon as "America's Favorite TV Personality". Ellen was able to hold the title for past three years but, currently lost it after Harmon declared as the newest title holder of the said award.

Leroy Jethro Gibbs played by Mark Harmon has been one of the fan's favorite character in "NCIS" since then. According to Inquisitr, "NCIS" couldn't possibly survive without his character. As it was reported that fans would walk away if Harmon leaves the show. Harmon's role as Jethro made a big impact on the long-running show.

On the other hand, there were reports claimed that one of the original cast, David McCallum, who played the role of a medical examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard said to be leaving at the end of the season. However, the 82-year old actor confirmed that the said rumor was not true. He said that he would still continue playing the role of Ducky in "NCIS" as long as he's in good condition.

As previously mentioned, "NCIS" season 14 rating kept on spiraling down since Weatherly stepped away from the show. Though the ratings of the show kept on dropping, CBS decided to renew its franchise for season 14 and 15.
