'My Hero Academia' Season 2 Confirmed For 2017; The New Season Covers U.A. Festival Arc

The anime has finally announced its second season last Sunday, posting on its official website the first promotional video of its action-packed season 2 storyline. Many are hooked by the amazing storyline of the anime series. The first season, which premiered on April 3, 2016, was a big hit - streaming across the globe, primarily in the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Ireland.

For starters, the anime looks like the typical anime story. A student named Izuku Midoriya wants to be a superhero, save people, and do stuff like what superheroes do. But the twists and turns and the characters themselves are what make the anime so exciting for its viewers. For the upcoming season, one of the biggest revelation so far is the U.A. Sports Festival arc.

Together with other big revelations, the new season is said to be covering the U.A. Sports Festival arc from Kōhei Horikoshi's original manga. According to iTech Post, the Sports Festival Arc is the fifth story arc in both Boku No Hero Academia and the U.A. Beginnings Saga. The story is going to be a competition among the Class 1-A and the rest of U.A. for the academy's annual sports festival.

This part of the story will be showcasing the dicey games and events of the sports festival which include the obstacle race around the stadium, the human cavalry battle, and the battle tournament.

The second season is said to be released sometime in June 2017. That is quite a lot of waiting, but at least anime fans are now sure that the fun and thrill continues. However, for those who are just starting to like the anime and haven't started with the first season yet, the second release is way too long for them to finish the entire first season. Season 1 contains only 13 fun-filled episodes which mean it's not yet too late for these anime lovers to enjoy the story.

Meanwhile, on a different anime news, "Code Geass's" main character Lelouch Lamperouge is rumored to be alive and might return in season 3. Check out the report by Jobs & Hire.
