WWE 2K15 Release Date and Rumors: Characters, Graphics Expected To Be More Realistic; Mick Foley Not In Roster?

The release date of WWE 2K15 is still months away from now, but we are already getting a lot of details about the newest iteration of the World Wrestling Entertainment 2K series.

Gaming Root reported that WWE 2K15, which will come this autumn season, will have a feature similar to that of the NBA 2K series. Like the 'NBA Today', the upcoming wrestling game will have updated statistics, ratings, and accessories for each character.

Reports also indicated that signature moves will also be updated automatically along with dynamic features of characters, which means that if one wrestler shaves his head in real life, his WWE 2K15 counterpart will also have shaved head.

And as expected the graphics will also improve dramatically, especially for the current generation consoles.

Unlike before, users will allegedly be allowed to interrupt character introductions. Each character's introduction will also have several variations, which means that gamers won't get bored with similar movements every time their favorite character walks into the ring.

Another interesting new feature that will surely be welcomed by gamers is the ability to take the fight virtually everywhere - like on the backstage, locker room, dressing room, or parking lot similar to that of that real-life show.

However, one possible downside of the upcoming game is the shortage of playable characters, particularly Hall of Fame characters due to a reported dispute on royalty fees.

Mick Foley recently said that he might not appear in WWE 2K15. The Hall of Famer, who appeared as himself in WWE 2K14, said that he might not sign his Legends deal this year.

Foley pointed out that last year's check was low, but the situation was understandable because there was bankruptcy, which is not the case this year.

"Honestly, I'm probably not going to sign my Legends deal with WWE because I don't think they did the right thing by the guys with the video game," Foley said in a CBS Radio interview. "The check was a little low. Last year, there was a bankruptcy, but this year there wasn't. So, I don't see the upside to signing the Legends deal when the carrot isn't there dangling. So, I'm not going to sign my Legends deal."
