Are you planning to relax the whole summer or enjoy some extra cash?
Malibu is a beautiful place to visit especially in the summer. Malibu is also the home of Pepperdine. Pepperdine University is an American private, not-for-profit, coeducational research university. And right now, Pepperdine is hiring for the summer.
Classes in Pepperdine are short and that's a good way to spend the summer. Here are a few on and off campus suggestions to earn some extra cash this summer, too.
1. International Student Services Worker - All high school and graduate students are welcome to apply. This job requires workers to work closely with prospective and current international students for one or more of the three summer sessions. You may need to answer questions about applications.
2. Department of Public Safety Student Coordinator - All students are welcome to apply but must need a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This is a watchdog post that requires the worker to make sure the grounds are safe
3. Athletics Tutor - Tutoring student athletes is the main focus of this job. Requirements include an A or B in previous courses of the subject you teach as well as an academic recommendation.
4. Malibu Farm Pier Cafe - The Cafe is hiring! If you want to enjoy the summer with a beautiful view, this is for you.
5. Lululemon Athletica - The store is in need of retail positions. Knowledge in retail is a plus.
6. Beeplanet Babysitter - Maybe you're good with kids. If you find watching over children comforting, and you're good at it then Beeplanet is in need of baby sitters like you.
Make sure to prepare your resumes. Get ready to be called up for an interview. A list of references can come in handy too!
