So, if you're the boss, you are in an unenviable position. There's so much animosity that went on even before you established your business. That is why you really have to work hard at winning the sympathies of your employees to succeed in business - legitimately.

There are other ways to succeed in business, of course, but they will lead you to a rabbit hole where there's no way of getting out.

If you are an honorable business owner, you must get a grip on the most common employee complaints against bosses. This is your only way to true business success.

1. Micromanaging

Constantly overseeing the work of your employees projects a lack of confidence in them. If you are over anxious and are always looking over their shoulders, it shows that you have not spent the right amount of training and mentoring that they need to have.

2. Being offended when opinions and decisions are challenged.

"Two heads are better than one" is a maxim that every successful businessman practices. No one has a monopoly of wisdom, common sense and intuitiveness. You can take their suggestions with a grain of salt but do give value to what your employees offer.

3. Setting deadlines without considering the current work being done.

This practice leads to a stressful workplace atmosphere. Do you want to tense the nerves of your workers unnecessarily?

4. Doesn't fulfill promises

Every promise that you give, write them down, so that when the conditions are met, you will be able to fulfill it. If you don't, your employees might have the notion that you're a man with a double tongue.
