While Sandbagging, Lip Oiling, Glossing Lids or Negative Spacing Eyeliner are the 'IN' trend in the make-up industry today, more Hollywood A-Listers opt to bare flawless faces and join #NoMakeUpRevolution trend.

 #IWokeUpLikeThis, #NoMakeup and #MakeupFree hashtags are flying Instagram currently, and the celebrities can't be left behind. Cameron Diaz, Heidi Klum, Emma Watson, Ariana Grande, Kendall Jenner and a lot more of these gorgeous woman were inspired to post their bare-faces with the trending tags.

The revolution doesn't end with that! These women going au naturel on camera fought to defy beauty standards. They are inspiring a lot of women to follow them, proving Marilyn Monroes quote, "A smile is the best makeup a girl could wear".

According to Woman's Day, Alicia Keys started the celebrity trend. She would no longer be wearing makeup and focus on No MakeUp Revolution trend; Getting tired of masking her true identity with make-up pushed her.

"Every time I left the house, I would be worried if I didn't put on makeup," Alicia said. "These were the insecure, superficial, but honest thoughts I was thinking. And all of it, one way or another, was based too much on what other people thought of me." She added.

NY Post reported that the #NoMakeUpRevolution is not a cheap matter, it can cost you money and time. Celebrity glow is the product of expensive serum, cream, lotion and upscale beauty products. You need to invest a lot for good skin yet going bare is worth it.

Even people who are not celebrities are getting on the bandwagon, InsideFAndB's Francine Cohen said in NY Post again; She doesn't go makeup-free for empowerment, but because "I always felt [I] was perfectly pretty without makeup," she says.

"It simplifies my life, not wearing makeup," she added. "There's less to fuss with.
