"The Chemical Change of Encounters" is the title of last week's episode of "Haikyuu!!" Season 3. It started off with a flashback taking a break from the intense match between Karasuno and Shiratorizawa.

The sixth episode of "Haikyuu!!" showed us a scene three years back when the three third years namely Daichi Sawamura, Koshi Sugawara, and Asahi Azumane are introducing themselves after joining Karasuno's Men High School Volleyball Club.It is set during the dark times of the club when there was no official coach to mentor them. They also don't have any senior players that is devoted enough to strive a much larger goal for the team.

One member of the team is urging them to win nationals but the other teammates just laughed it off saying that they should set a goal that is more attainable. During their first tournament, Daichi, Sugawara, and Azumane experienced a heartbreaking defeat. In between his tears, their optimistic teammate said that if another chance appears, they'd better grab it.

The latest episode of "Haikyuu!!" has illustrated how the three seniors found their motivation and resolve to win and how they've become indispensable to Karasuno's volleyball team.

Going back to the game, Karasuno struggled for each point to gain an edge against Shiratorizawa and win the fourth set. With the effort of everyone and miracle plays from Hinata, Karasuno secured a final set with Shiratorizawa.

Moving toward the fifth set, stamina and willpower will definitely play a huge factor for winning. This will be the first time for Karasuno to play a five-set match. They will soon feel fatigue taking a toll with their bodies especially Kageyama who already shown signs of exhaustion. With four more episodes remaining for "Haikyuu!!" Season 3, we will witness a fight of a lifetime with more volleyball action that will take our breath away.
