'Halo Wars 2' Game Updates: New Characters, Better Plot, Release Date And More!

"Halo Wars 2" is a battle simulation. As the commander of UNSC forces, players tackle resources in the game world to create and intensify their units. In turn, they send those units into battle against vicious forces and help win humanity's war of survival.

"Halo Wars 2" marks the comeback of the spirit of fire crew, but it's been decades since they entered cry-sleep. They find themselves above the ark installation that makes the Halo rings and they are not the only ones at the ark though, a splinter faction of the covenant is also present.

Advances in technology allow "Halo Wars 2" to look better than its predecessor by a quality wide margin. The character models have all been enhanced for the story and battles themselves have improved graphics as well.

The "Halo Wars 2" release comes as Microsoft is busy making out Xbox Live's existence on Windows PCs. It will probably be available in two versions, one made specifically for Windows and another made specifically for Xbox One according to Gottabemobile.

Users will be able to switch between the two, as long as they purchase the exact version of the game. Game saves will sync through Xbox Live. Microsoft calls this Xbox play anywhere as reported on Jobs & Hire.

"Halo Wars 2" reintroduces two redesigned characters from its previous instalment: James Cutter and Anders, who are the main protagonists of the game, according to Fabnewz. Furthermore, "Halo Wars 2" introduces a new menacing villain - Atriox, leader of the banished, a ruthless and brutal mercenary group.

"Halo Wars 2" new release date is february 17, 2017. Apparently, 2016's release calendar was so filled with games that Microsoft had no choice but to delay the launch of the console game after the holiday season.
