'SoulCalibur' News & Updates: Series Celebrates Its 20 Years With An Anniversary Trailer!

"SoulCalibur" game series has been one of the most popular fighting games in gaming history. It has been recognized worldwide by gamers. "SoulCalibur" has been dormant for quite some time until last December 6, 2016. A trailer has been released by Bandai Namco Entertainment America.

According to Crunchyroll, the anniversary trailer video features every "SoulCalibur" game series that was released since its debut. The video ends with the very common quote from all the game series stating "The Legend Will Never Die." Based on fan reviews, the best "SoulCalibur" so far is "SoulCalibur II," as for the worst "SoulCalibur" series, its "SoulCalibur V."

However, not everyone agrees to the best or worst "SoulCalibur" series. "SoulCalibur V" was first released in North America on January 31, 2012, and can be played on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Somehow it managed to top the other series in graphics, character customization and many more.

According to a report from Gematsu, the trailer has featured all the "SoulCalibur" game series, including Soul Edge that was released in 1996. Bandai Namco announced that the "SoulCalibur" series will have its first pachinko slot game titled "Pachislo SoulCalibur." The slot game will launch consecutively all over Japan in January, and during the same press it revealed that the total sales for the entire series have reach $14million worldwide.

Additional reports states that a new website for the "SoulCalibur" series has also been set up. The website is now live, and can be used as a gateway for the "SoulCalibur" along with a 20th anniversary website. The "SoulCalibur" series have been famous for its somewhat old fashioned battle scenes. It has been one of the best fighting games with unique weapons for each characters.
