In "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" a downloadable content featuring Boruto was released, and now a new game is on its way this February. It became so popular that it has been decided to have its very own stand-alone game.
According to Crunchyroll, the title of the new "Naruto" game is "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ROAD TO BORUTO." The game is all set to be released on the 2nd of February 2017 that can be played on PlayStation 4, and it will be featuring new game modes, brand new character designs, and various never before seen powerful attacks in the previous "Naruto" games.
In "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ROAD TO BORUTO" players will be delineating the storyline of the latest film in the Story Mode. It will also be featuring an Adventure Mode, and an Online Mode that will be added in the regular game modes.
The new playable characters are Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki it will also be including adult character frames for Naruto and Sasuke. However, some characters might not make it to the new "Naruto" game. This might just be a speculation so far since the game might have downloadable contents that might get fans to play the alleged unplayable characters.
According to iTech Post, the lists of non-playable characters are Momoshiki and Kinshiki both are Boruto's main villains. In addition Yurui, Metal Lee, Shikadai, and Konohamaru's adult version will also not be included. This is rather confusing for players since the mentioned characters can still be fought in the story mode, and it is rather disappointing for some players.
Usually nemesis characters or antagonists can be unlocked in the previous "Naruto" games. Bandai Namco later explained that these characters can only be fought during Story Mode, and they also stated that it is quite difficult for them to create the new character models for the "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ROAD TO BORUTO."
Most of the mentioned new characters will be having powerful attacks in the new game, and is likely to impress fans upon its release. Hopefully the unplayable characters can later on be unlocked on the Story Mode or downloadable contents for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 ROAD TO BORUTO."
