GE Europe has recently received EEA-Grants of €2 million for the undertaking of hydropower projects in Turkey and Norway. The latest news is that the company’s GE Renewable Energy division has been provided with these funds by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology.
General Electric and Bank of Montreal are reportedly in talks over an acquisition in favor of the latter. On Thursday, GE announced that is is ready to let go of its transportation financing unit and it plans to sell this to Bank of Montreal.
