NBA Rumors: Julius Randle, Lou Williams and Brandon Ingram To Pistons; Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Stanley Johnson And Marcus Morris To Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers look very promising as they start the 2016-2017 NBA season without Kobe Bryant. But it appears that the franchises' playoff hopes have died down since D'Angelo Russel's injury. NBA trade rumors are now surfacing that the Lakers could possibly deal three of its key players to the Detroit Pistons. Could the deal give the Lakers a push to land a playoff spot?

The Lakers were trying to land the 8th seed in the Western Conference but are now at the 9th spot falling behind the Portland Trailblazers. With the Trailblazers looking sharp this year, the Lakers might need to shake up its roster to get more wins.

According to Fan Sided, one possible trade scenario that could happen is the Lakers trading for Marcus Morris, Stanley Johnson and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The Pistons are rumored to get Nick Young along with Julius Randle and Lou Williams but Young is also sidelined because of an injury. The Pistons would rather get a healthy Ingram to add another wingman to its roster.

The Lakers would most likely deal Ingram as well since he has been involved in some NBA trade rumors before. In a report by Hoopshype, the rookie has been shooting poorly also so he is the best option to trade to the Pistons instead of Young.

Most critics don't agree with these NBA trade rumors since Julius Randle has been showing signs of growth this year. But if there is a deal that would make the Lakers trade Julius Randle, it would be with the Pistons.

Caldwell-Pope and Morris can instantly boost any team's offense and defense overnight. It wouldn't be a setback for the Lakers since they are also young players who could provide so much energy as starters or as bench players.

Morris would take Randle's place and Caldwell-Pope would be a good complement for Russel  or Jordan Clarkson. But these NBA trade rumors are just speculations and fans just need to wait until the trade market opens up.
