Author of the critically acclaimed series, "A Song of Ice and Fire," reportedly has time to schedule an interview. The HBO Television adaptation, "Game of Thrones," is still busy airing out "Game of Thrones" season 6. The TV production and roll-out went ahead as scheduled and didn't formally coincide with George R.R. Martin's unfinished book. That meant HBO has taken some creative liberties in order to proceed with the series but it promised to stay true to the books' plot. However, GRRM promised not to do anything else until he makes an official "Winds of Winter" release date, as JobsNHire previously reported.
So what's the difference now? According to CDaily, Martin is setting off to amend HBO's representation of Dorne in an excerpt from his highly anticipated novel installation in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, "The Winds of Winter."
Fans have been waiting for any snippet of information about the sixth novel in the "A Song of Ice and Fire" fantasy series. In his blog, he has cancelled interview schedules, book signings and other commitments. But now, he has given his fans a taste of "Winds of Winter" ahead of the release date by setting something straight. A released chapter focusing on Arianne Martell, (who was never seen in the HBO TV Series "Game of Thrones") tells of the plot between the Dorn royals versus Lord Connington. In addition, Martin introduces a brand new ecosystem of non-tropical rainforests between Dorne and Storm's landing, as well as architecture made by Children of the Forest.
Though this sneak-peek of an exceprt doesn't fully mean that George R.R. Martin is officially done with the sixth novel, it somehow signals that he could be close.
Fans continue to wait for the official "Winds of Winter" release date but for now, HBO's "Game of Thrones" should suffice. After all, his writing career is on the line.
